What is a TestDaF certificate?

You want to study in Germany and need an officially recognised certificate of proof verifying your German language skills? As we are an official TestDaF centre, you've come to the right place!
TestDaF is one of the leading German language tests for international students. The TestDaF language certificate is recognised both nationally and internationally and enables you to access all institutes of higher education in Germany.
TestDaF requires sound knowledge of the German language and provides you with the opportunity to assess your language proficiency in the four skills of reading comprehension, listening comprehension, written production, and spoken production. The TestDaF proficiency levels TDN 3, 4, 5 correspond to levels B2 and C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Typically, Level 4 is sufficient for admission to a German university.

Per TestDaF test
Regular price: 163.87 € + VAT = 195.00 €
You can easily register for the test online here. A valid passport is required as part of the registration process.
The TestDaF test comprises four components, which are all taken on the same test day over a period of 3 hours and 10 minutes. Short breaks are taken between the individual components, with a longer break of 30-60 minutes scheduled after the listening comprehension component.
Chronological order of the test:
Reading comprehension: 60 minutes
Break: 10 minutes
Listening comprehension: 40 minutes
Break: 30-60 minutes
Written production: 65 minutes
Break: 10 minutes
Spoken production: 35 minutes

We offer specialised test preparation in small groups or 1-to-1 lessons. These provide instruction on each test component and provide effective approaches to taking the test. In small groups of 3-5 participants, you will have the opportunity to practice for your upcoming TestDaF test. This will help you to be perfectly prepared and allow you to approach the test with confidence.
