Vocational language courses

With this in mind, inlingua Osnabrück has developed a series of language programmes for international medical professionals. These courses teach sustainable language skills as well as intercultural nuances and the proper interaction with patients and staff in German institutions. They are delivered by highly competent, native-speaking teachers to the high quality standards that have become synonymous with inlingua.

We offer BAMF-funded courses for various fields: German for medical professionals, German for dentists and German for pharmacists. All courses comprise between 400 and 600 academic hours and conclude with a specialist language examination. In addition to covering the specific subject areas of relevance to each field, the courses provide instruction on German grammar, vocabulary and verbal communication. Since the duration of the course depends on the individual's proficiency level, please contact us for further information concerning your specific case.

These courses are designed for all foreign doctors who wish to work in Germany and require a licence to practice here (Approbation). To obtain this licence, you will need to provide a certificate of eligibility from the Employment Agency and a language proficiency certificate at B2 level (according to the Common European Framework of Reference) that is no more than 6 months old.
